Some Great Links for Wargamers... (blogs in quotes)
Wow. Compare the top (with my new flash) and bottom (old flash) picture. Check out the difference the new flash (a gift from my ever-generous father in law, who picked up a new flash for himself) makes. Wow.
The top one is the new one; an external flash that bounces the light up and off the surroundings, making a much warmer, less washed out shot. I love it!:D

Very cool mate.
Dont want to spoil it but personally I prefer the former picture for it's warmer colo(u)rs.
Stands that both are great !
Actually, I prefer the version without flash. The colors are warmer and I don't see any appreciable difference in detail.
Hey all!
Sorry, I must not have been clear; the TOP one is the new flash! The bottom one is the old flash... much colder:(
Sorry... I rewrote it to make it more clear:)
Oh wow--you're right! A new flash does make all the difference!
Well than it seems your test with us in the unknown has proven that the new one is actually far superior. Great consumertest this :-)
To those of us who don't know flashes from a hole in the ground, what is it about the new flash that helps it take such a better picture?
They look much better. What was the upgrade? lad board flash to external? Or an upgrade?
The bottom photo is the old, internal flash.
The top one is the new one; an external flash that bounces the light up and off the surroundings, making a much warmer, less washed out shot. I love it!:D
