Very interesting. You know back in 1994 or '95 there was a computer game called red alert. By today's standards it seems simple and the graphics poor but I always was waiting around for that game to be made into a simple easy fast playing Napoleonic period game. No one ever made that game but perhaps you are on to something.
Yeah, I remember it well:) Not sure I can quite match that game (it was a classic!) but I think I can get a decent little Napoleonic or ACW game going for the XBOX or maybe even the iPad. The basic engine is written already... it wouldn't be that tricky to do:) In fact, I may do a whole series of games using the engine, which is VERY versatile:)
Hard to get the toy soldier crowd to comment on video game stuff!:)

I was only today discussing something similar with a buddy.
the pixel-art stuff reminds me in the old PC game called field of Glory.
