I would play more often, but don't really have a chance...

I'll actually post a bit more about the rules in the nearer future... I don't have them all typed up yet, but...

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed reading the AAR; I enjoy writing them and always hope someone reads them through!Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01992613594254823700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103967522725268062.post-35562601107456796422009-07-14T17:50:29.021-07:002009-07-14T17:50:29.021-07:00I also read your rules overview. Also, there's a familiar ring to them...

Ever try General de Brigade?Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11391332142002797390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103967522725268062.post-1692616558323341762009-07-14T15:49:45.502-07:002009-07-14T15:49:45.502-07:00Yes, it was fun to read. I am glad someone enjoys the AARs... while I enjoy writing them because it is fun to reflect on the game, I am never sure how readable they are, especially since they come in multiple parts. When reading it did it seem to have a fun flow to read?

I am totally going to look for 10mm dead... scattering them over a field would be fantastic and, as you mention, it would take all of 10 seconds to paint them!:DAuthorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01992613594254823700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103967522725268062.post-43513815846326811482009-07-13T21:29:45.687-07:002009-07-13T21:29:45.687-07:00Sorry, my last comment was directed primarily to y...Sorry, my last comment was directed primarily to your Napoleonic photo shoot, not the actual game AAR, which I also enjoyed reading.

JimJameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11391332142002797390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103967522725268062.post-82117344042251111422009-07-13T21:27:00.213-07:002009-07-13T21:27:00.213-07:00Yes, they kind of mark the progression of battle a...Yes, they kind of mark the progression of battle as well. I haven't dabbled in 10mm, so I don't know of any makers of 10mm casualties, but if anyone has 'em they're probably pretty easy to paint.

Pictures of a great table top, BTW. You definitely captured the Napoleonic mass effect and the gnarled old dead tree next to the cemetary was a nice touch.

JimJameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11391332142002797390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103967522725268062.post-36212124567689612722009-07-13T19:30:22.247-07:002009-07-13T19:30:22.247-07:00*laugh*

I would actually REALLY enjoy getting some... nothing makes a battlefield look as good as scattering casualties where there should be casualties, you know?Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01992613594254823700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3103967522725268062.post-77588190660391919682009-07-13T17:11:51.065-07:002009-07-13T17:11:51.065-07:00And where are all the casualties ? ;)And where are all the casualties ? ;)Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11391332142002797390noreply@blogger.com
